This is one of our very favorite transformations. The room had dark, oversized furniture and heavy drapery that choked the room. Opening the windows and adding an appropriately scaled bed with light bedding made the room feel fresh, along with opening up space for a daybed and large dresser.
Oversized pieces in a small space can make the room feel even smaller. Correct furniture size makes spaces more functional and creates a more airy, comfortable layout.
